CSS-first visuals
Every visual starts from CSS background properties, not only a static image. Copy the code and use it directly in your website or app.
About Codioful
Codioful is a free CSS and HD background visuals library created by Shahadat Rahman to help designers, developers, founders, and makers find beautiful backgrounds they can copy, download, and use across real digital projects.
It started from a simple need: reusable background visuals that work both as CSS and as image assets. Use them free, credit Codioful when you can, or get a no-attribution license when clean commercial use matters.
Beautiful backgrounds should not be hard to find, heavy to load, or locked behind complicated tools.
Codioful started from a simple idea: create reusable background visuals that can live both as CSS and as downloadable images. Designers can use them in mockups, slides, social posts, and brand visuals. Developers can copy the CSS and use them directly in websites or apps. Makers can use them as quick visual starting points when they need a polished background without opening a heavy design file.
The project grew from Shahadat’s interest in CSS gradients, layered backgrounds, blend modes, color systems, and visual composition.
Codioful is not just a gallery of pretty backgrounds. Each visual is designed to be useful across different digital formats, from website sections to presentation covers.
Every visual starts from CSS background properties, not only a static image. Copy the code and use it directly in your website or app.
Need a quick image instead of code? Download HD or Full HD versions for slides, wallpapers, thumbnails, screenshots, and social graphics.
Current visuals are free to browse, copy, and download. The core library stays open and easy to use.
Codioful uses a soft attribution model. Use the visuals free and credit Codioful when practical. Need clean commercial use without credit? Get a no-attribution license.

Creator of Codioful
Codioful is created by Shahadat Rahman, a Bangladeshi product designer, CRO-focused website strategist, and visual systems creator.
He works across website design, conversion-focused UX, CSS visuals, digital products, and reusable creative assets. Codioful is part of his wider creative ecosystem around design, CSS visuals, conversion-focused web design, and practical resources for makers.
Shahadat created Codioful to make background visuals easier to use across real digital work: landing pages, SaaS websites, presentation covers, ad creatives, screenshots, social posts, product mockups, and more.
His focus is simple: useful visuals, clean design, fast usage, and fewer barriers for people who need good-looking backgrounds without wasting hours.
Codioful’s earlier version was developed with sincere help from Zonayed Ahmed. He contributed development and interaction work that helped the project take shape in its first version.
This new version builds on that early foundation with a wider visual library, updated positioning, HD downloads, a soft attribution model, and a cleaner browsing experience.
Earlier version development & interaction contribution
Zonayed Ahmed contributed to the earlier version of Codioful with development and interaction work.
Codioful is not only for one type of designer or one type of website. The same visual can work as CSS in a landing page, a background in a slide deck, a cover for a social post, or a polished layer behind a screenshot.
You can use Codioful visuals for personal and commercial projects. Copy the CSS or download HD images for free. When practical, credit Codioful with a simple link.

For client work, paid campaigns, templates, commercial products, or cases where attribution does not fit, you can buy a no-attribution license.
Codioful will keep growing as a curated library of CSS and HD background visuals. The goal is not to become another complicated design tool. The goal is to make it easier to find, copy, download, and use beautiful background visuals across everyday digital work.
Future improvements may include better browsing, more collections, more visual styles, easier previews, remix-friendly workflows, and higher-resolution requests.
If you want a specific kind of background, found a bug, or have an idea that could make Codioful more useful, send a message. Small feedback helps shape the library.
